What is Microblogging?
Microblogging is a combination of instant messaging and content production.
Microblogs are much shorter than blogs. People share short messages on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. These short messages are called microblog messages. You could be the first person to ever share your thoughts on Twitter and it would count as microblogging.
Similar to having a conversation with friends on Twitter, you add pictures, videos, videos of yourself, links, quotes, and what have you. This creates a conversational style of sharing. The goal is to provide value to an audience in the microblog that you think is relevant to your brand.
Microblogging allows you to share videos, photos, and infographics as well.
In addition, microblogging helps people share their ideas and opinions.
